Become A Furry Godmother

​

1.    I’m a pack member of The Pet Cottage organization which means that as a Furry Godmother I am representing and supporting its mission, values, and goals.

 

2.    I will serve as the champion for The Pet Cottage pets under my responsibility. This means:

-    I am aware of each pet’s situation, age, birthdate, gotcha date, medical conditions, medications, preventatives, and vet visit schedule.

-    I will create and nurture a relationship with the pet’s lifelong guardian by establishing a regular form of communication that suits both me and the guardian.

-    I will reach out to the guardian at least twice a month to receive updates on the pet’s health and well-being and complete the check-in questionnaire.

 

3.    I will attend a monthly Furry Godmother Zoom luncheon to share updates and build community with other members.

 

4.    I will collect stories, photos and updates of my guardian’s pets often and send them to the Social Media Coordinator so that The Pet Cottage can share, celebrate, and highlight the important work we are all doing on social media and in marketing.

 

5.    If I am traveling out of town, I will inform Wendy so my Furry Godmother responsibilities will be covered.
